The Trail description
This trail connects the southern village Riomaggiore, with the well-known and picturesque village of Portovenere.
This is the longest route on our website, that's why a stroll will be quite time-consuming, and the route is not always easily traversable. On the other hand, the trail wends its way through the tiny villages, where you can recharge your batteries and enjoy a huge variety of splendid views.
While approaching to Portovenere, the trail offers a panorama of Palmaria (which is strongly recommended to visit) and Tino islands. The motorboats depart from Portovenere to Palmaria daily all year round. What is more, the island can be travelled through on foot and unforgettable photos can be taken. Will you miss such an opportunity?
